Copyright conditions
"All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted. IFAC-sponsored conferences will abide by the highest standard of ethical behavior in the review process as explained on the Elsevier web page, but see also the VANCOUVER PROTOCOL and AUTHOR INFORMATION and the authors will abide by the IFAC PUBLICATION ETHICS GUIDELINES.

Accepted papers that have been presented at an IFAC meeting, will be published in the proceedings of the event using the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine. To this end, the author(s) must confer the copyright to IFAC when they submit the final version of the paper through the paper submission process. See also IFAC-PapersOnLine/copyright, for the personal permission rights to reproduce the published paper on a personal or institutional www-site."


Post-symposium publications
The IPC of the IFAC event may screen presented papers with the purpose of recommending the authors to consider a derivative publication of the presented paper in one of the IFAC Journals (at present:
Automatica, Control Engineering Practice, Annual Reviews in Control, Journal of Process Control, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Mechatronics.
   
Apart from the publication in IFAC journals, extended versions of selected papers will also be screened for post-conference publication in International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Journal of Automation, Mobile Robotics & Intelligent Systems, and other Operational Research, Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering journals. A special volume containing selected papers will appear in a Springer Verlag Lecture Note series.

The proceedings will also be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index accessed via Web of Science™ (ISI), DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus.
